Pingla Mata Yatra on July 16

UDHAMPUR, July 7: Shri Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha (SASSS), Udhampur is organizing 12th Annual Akhand Jyoti Yatra of Pingla Mata on July 16.
This was disclosed in a meeting convened under the chairmanship of president, Shri Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Ashok Kumar Gupta, here today.
Prior to the Yatra, Hawan-Yagna and lighting of scared lamp (Aakhand Jyoti) shall be carried out in the morning of July 14 followed by a Shobha Yatra of Pingla Mata taken out from Pandav Mandir in the evening. The Akhand Jyoti of the shrine would remain at Pandav Mandir and would be carried to Pingla Mata Cave Shrine on July 16 morning in a procession of devotees.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pingla Mata Cave Shrine is situated at a small hillock of village Pinger in Ramnagar Tehsil, about 20 Km from Udhampur on Udhampur-Ramnagar Road and on foot distance to the shrine is about 6 Km from the village Kaua.
President, SASSS, Ashok Gupta, said that a free bus service would be arranged from Udhampur to Village Kaua for devotees and free langar facility would be provided by the Sanstha at the shrine cave and enroute. A large number of devotees from different parts of the State are expected to participate in the one day pilgrimage.
