Star England batsman Kevin Pietersen, who yesterday tweeted his difficulty in getting his passport cleared from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), today thanked the ministry for clearing his visa and passport for his upcoming visit to India.
The MEA informed that the necessary clearance visa was received from the union sports ministry paving his way for upcoming India visit.
“It’s arrived! Thank you @MEAIndia! Always happier when I have my passport!” Pietersen wrote on his Twitter page. Pietersen, yesterday took to micro-blogging site ‘Twitter’ to voice his difficulties regarding procuring visa to come to India for some personal work.
Pietersen revealed on his twitter page that his passport is lying with the Indian embassy in the UK for the past 10 days for a job that he claimed requires barely 24 hours and subsequently requested the MEA to help him in this regard. (UNI)
