RAJOURI, June 26: The police nabbed a pick-pocket when he tried to escape after snatching a purse of a youth at Sunderbani Bus Stand today.
The accused identified as Mohd Issac, son of Mirza Faiz, resident of Harni in Mendhar, managed to snatch the purse of one Anil Raina, resident of Latter village at Sunderbani Bus Stands during the day today. Raina immediately came to know about the act and raised alarm. He chased the youth but he slipped away from the area. The police was immediately informed and the cops after a hot chase nabbed the accused. The snatched money worth Rs 9000 was also recovered from the `pocket-mar’. He was arrested and a case registered against him.
