Srinagar, Mar 9: Jammu and Kashmir Junior Pharmacist Association (JKGJPA), today appealed Government to put a moratorium of two-years on Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) to avail the benefit of third Time Bound Promotion (TBP).
Junior pharmacists said that they have been working in the department from last 26 years during which they got two TBP’s in their service and appealed concerned officials to have third TBP for them on priority basis instead of DPC, which has no financial benefits for them at this stage of service.
“Our last TBP was on 2006-07 and third only will be very soon, we appeal our concerned officials to stop DPC which is supposed to be held on next year over the completion of 27 years in service, otherwise we will get no increment in basic pay”, they said.
Khurshid Ahmad Mir, General Secretary JKGJPA said the third TBP was financially beneficial for them and it will definitely increase their pay grade, so they wanted the government to put moratorium for DPC for at least next two years.
They have appealed Minister for Health and Medical Education, Commissioner Secretary Health and Director Health Services, Kashmir to look into the matter sympathetically.
