JAMMU, May 6: Vice-Chairman of Global Institutes, Amritsar, Dr Akashdeep Singh said that students are prepared from their first year only for getting placements in good MNCs in the final year.
Dr Akashdeep Singh added that apart from PTU syllabus, students are provided regular personality development classes and innovative ideas for their over-all development.

Dr Singh added that more than 250 students have already been placed in the 2014-2015 passing out batch. Various MNCs such as Open Text, TCS, Capital Via, Aon Hewit, Hexaware Technologies, Trigent, AIS Glass, Eider Motors, Baya Tree and many others visited the campus for placement drives during the season. Many students got more than 2 job offers during these drives.
He said that Global Institutes provides international exposure to students for their development. “We have international tie-ups with various Universities in the World. Students have already visited France, Russia, Egypt and Austria through their Student Exchange Programme”, Dr Singh informed.
“Global Institutes has developed centre of excellence for sharpening the skills of the students. These include High Performance Automobiles, Robotics and Industrial Automation, Mobile Computing and Big Data. It is compulsory for students to take part in these centres to sharpen their skills in their respective fields. Students have developed award winning Formula-1 Cars, Quadcopter, Spokeless Cycle and many others in these Centres”, he added.
