People’s Forum for Human Values highlight demands

SAMBA, June 25: People’s Forum for Human Values held a meeting and discussed various problems being faced by the people.
In the meeting, members of civil society, political parties and Beopar Mandal participated and discussed various problems of the town and its adjoining village including installation of 10MVA transformer at Sub- Station Samba, shortage of drinking water, extension of municipal committee, auditorium-cum-conference hall for municipal committee, establishment of vegetable and fruit mandi, opening of para medical training institute including auxiliary medical training institute for nurse, shifting of veterinary hospital, besides other problems.
The members also expressed concern over non-functioning of receiving station at village Dhalote, Satah Raipur and Rehian, the work for which was started about 10 years back. The members urged District Development Board to arrange funds for dug well, tube well and pump sets etc., so as to fulfill the shortage of drinking water.
The member of forum and civil society also presented memorandum of demands to Deputy Chief Minister, Chairman, District Development Board and urged DDB to fulfill the demand of the people.
