People Trapped In Chenab Rescued By Army

Three locals stranded in the Chenab River near Chandiya Ghat in Akhnoor were safely rescued by a joint team of the Indian Army and SDRF after a sudden rise in water level and strong currents trapped them. Police, Army and SDRF teams coordinated the rescue operation, bringing all three to safety. Persons rescued were identified as Sunil Kumar alias Mantu, Arjun Dev Singh alias Sonu, and Manik Kumar alias Manu, all residents of Akhnoor.
