JAMMU, Dec 8: Former Minister and BJP leader, Sham Lal Sharma today said that there is some confusion in the minds of the people regarding Art 370,Jobs and the rights on their property created by opposition political parties for their vested interest.
While addressing monthly meeting Sham Sharma asked people not to pay any heed towards the false propaganda of the opposition parties with regard to 370,Jobs and their property . He further said that their rights will be safeguarded at any cost with in the Constitution of India.
“Some of the political parties in the State are trying to score political points by spreading rumours against Art 370 to scare the people of Jammu by saying that outsiders will occupy their lands and claim their right in employment. ” he added.
Sham said the people shouldn’t take the baseless and malicious propaganda of the opposition leader seriously with a view to scuttle their plan of misguiding the masses for their political gains. He further said that our country is in the safe hands of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah and we should strengthen their hands by contributing in one way or the other.
Sham expressed his concern for the non clearance of MGNREGA liabilities for which BDC Chairmen ,Sarpanchs,
Panchs are on hunger strike for the last so many days.
He said that the demands of the Sarpanches and Panches are genuine and needs to be soughted out speedily.
Sham said that with a view ensure power at grass root level we should strengthen the Panchayati Raj system. He urged the Government to come forward and resolve their issues as soon as possible.
On the issue of strike by Bar Association Jammu,Sham said that Government should look into the matter for which they are on indefinite strike. Consequent upon strike, the judicial system has been disrupted to a great extent and people are facing great hardships for early disposal of their cases. He further expressed his concern over pending demands of daily wagers/CP workers and urged Government to end uncertainty as soon as possible.
