SAMBA, July 24: The residents of Ghagwal today held protest demonstration against the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Department for not providing adequate ration supply to them.
Hundreds of residents of Ghagwal led by Kewal Krishan assembled near a Government ration depot and raised slogans against the CAPD Department and the store keeper.
Kewal Krishan alleged that the store keeper is not providing ration to the people, thus creating problems for them. He demanded adequate ration supply to the people at the earliest.
Later, TSO intervened in the matter, pacified the agitators and ration was distributed among the people.
