UDHAMPUR, Mar 11: An elderly man was knocked to death by an over speeding truck at village Jagbal in Majalta, here today.
The deceased was identified as Balak Ram (78), son of Mathura Ram, resident of village Palater in Majalta. While walking on the roadside, he was hit by a truck, bearing registration number JK14C-9290.
Some locals shifted the seriously injured victim to PHC Majalta where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police has registered the case and arrested driver of the truck.
