JAMMU, July 5: Exuding confidence in the party leadership, PDP general secretary Ved Mahajan has said that PDP is a party with people’s agenda and represents their aspirations and the party was never power hungry.
While speaking in a party leaders and workers meeting at party office here today, Mahajan asserted that they stand by the decisions of party leadership. He assured full support to Mehbooba Mufti in good as well as bad times and said that they stand by the ideology and agenda of the party envisaged under late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed who floated this party to mitigate the sufferings of people of the State.
He exhibited confidence in the party leadership, stating that they stand by the decisions and the ideology of the PDP.
Mahajan said that PDP was never after power and its core objective has always been the mitigation of crisis on ground and addressing the concerns of the State with courage and selfless efforts.
The leaders who were present in the meeting included, Trilok Singh Bajwa, Dhaman Bhasin, Ch Abdul Hameed, Jatinder Bhat, Hussain Ali Wafa, Vijaya Dogra, Ab Rashid Malik, Deepak Handa, Falail Singh; Amreek Singh Reen; Bushan Lal Dogra; Ch Manmohan Singh; Satpal Singh Charak, Ch Hamid, Balbir Singh, Sukhvinder Singh, Baldev Singh Papa, Faqir Chand Baghat; Rajinder Singh Manhas; Aijaz Mirza, Shamim Dar, Shujab-ul- Haq, Shafeeq- ur- Rehman, Sheikh Nasir Ali, Bashir Ahmad Rouniyal, Surinder Singh, Dr HS Salthia Gurmeet Kour Pandey, Capt. Anil Gour and others.
