JAMMU, Aug 11: A Power Development Department (PDD) employee died after he fell from a utility pole here today.
Hemraj (40) son of Chuni Lal of Bajalta, Sidhra, at present Rehari, fell from an electric pole at New Rehari around 10:30 am today, resulting in injuries to the PDD employee, said police.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where he was declared as dead on arrival, they said.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigation in the case.
