JAMMU, Nov 28: Power Development Department (PDD) today conducted disconnection drive in areas falling under Electric Sub Divisions-I, JPDCL, Gandhi Nagar during which 46 electric connections of defaulters were disconnected.
The drive was conducted by a team of PDD officials under the supervision of AEE, Electric Sub Division-I, (Distribution) Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Besides disconnecting 46 connections, the team also realized the revenue of Rs 11.038 lakh on spot from defaulters at Gandhi Nagar, Bathindi, Channi Himmat and Bahu Plaza.
The team checked house to house during the drive and also disconnected 11 illegal connections on spot.
