JAMMU, Jan 6: A delegation of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee led by Ghulam Ahmed Mir met the All India Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi today and apprised her about the latest political situation in the State.
The PCC chief accompanied by CLP Leader, Nawang Rigzin Jora (MLA Leh) and senior vice president of the PCC Sham Lal Sharma, during meeting with the Congress president apprised her about the political scenario and ongoing organizational activities of the party.
The party president also took the feedback from these leaders about workers and people of J&K with regard to the functioning of present PDP-BJP Coalition Government and the role being played by Congress party to represent and highlight the issues of people of all the three regions of the State. They also discussed various measures for further strengthening the party in the State.
