UDHAMPUR, Nov 9: Further intensifying his election campaign, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate for Udhampur Assembly constituency, Pawan Khajuria addressed largely attended public meetings in different areas of Udhampur and exhorted people to vote for change.
He visited Jakheni, Bhadar, Jaganu, Tikri, Maand, Kallar and other areas where he addressed a number of public meetings highlighting the BJP roadmap for overall development of Jammu and Kashmir on Gujarat model .
Mr Khajuria said that BJP was the only party, which could ensure equitable development of the entire State, justice to Jammu region, solution of all problems being faced by people of J&K and a befitting reply to Pakistan as well as terrorism sponsored from across the border.
“The time has come when the people of Jammu region have to awake and make united efforts for accomplishment of BJP’s Mission 44+ to ensure a new era of peace and development in Jammu Kashmir,” he said and exhorted people to must exercise their vote in the Assembly elections for a change.
While highlighting the local issues, Pawan Khajuria alleged that the sitting MLA has failed on all fronts. During the last 12 years, people were provided only lip service by the MLA who did nothing for development of this constituency and welfare of Udhampur people, he said and asked the masses to vote BJP for changing destiny of the area.
Without naming anyone, the BJP candidate asked the people not to be carried away by personal agenda of some individuals who were misleading the innocent workers by promising them personal favours in lieu of vote and support in the elections.
During these public meetings, a large number of Panthers Party workers joined BJP and said that only Pawan Khajuria and BJP could ensure overall development of Udhampur constituency.
