UDHAMPUR, Feb 26:   Ran-bir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar kick-started macad-amization work on 14.04 km Kulwanta-Bari Laddana road estimated to be completed at the cost of 7.09 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that he is committed to transform the riff-raff road connectivity scenario of the area of Ramnagar. He said when he took over as MLA, almost all the roads of Ramnagar were lying in shambles but he took it up as a mission to metal and macadamize all these roads.
He reiterated his resolve to macadamize all the roads and provide electricity to all the hamlets/households of Ramnagar by the end of 2019. Pertinently the Kulwanta-Bari -Laddana road was the decades old demand of the public and when completed will benefit nearly 10 villages and about 10,000 population of these villages namely Dolla, Darella, Bashk-Dera, Foungri, Nessal and adjoining hamlets.  Pathania also announced a motorable bridge at Dolla estimated to be completed at the cost of 1.04 crore.
Pathania, while inspecting the ongoing developmental works called upon contractors and executing agencies to ensure quality work as well as adhere to the time deadline.
He further advised the public to remain vigilant about the quality of work being taken up by these agencies. He also announced construction of four passenger sheds one each at Padhraka, Kulwanta, Chattriari and Kaitha.
Pathania also announced construction of a state of art PWD Rest House at Kulwanta. Reacting to public demand and reiterating his commitment to Swachh Bharat Mission, he announced construction of Ladies Toilet Block at Kulwanta. He further announced boundary wall and Examination Hall for High School Kulwanta.
While addressing people at Kulwanta, Pathania issued on spot instructions to various departments/agencies for on-spot redressal of hardships and problems of the people.
He directed local administration to give a fillip to the developmental tempo in these hitherto neglected areas and ensure that time bound and effective delivery of services is administered in these areas.
On the occasion public demanded setting up of Primary Health Centre at Kulwanta.
Reacting to it Pathania said that the demand for setting up of PHC at Kulwanta is genuine and he will personally take up this issue with higher authorities so that Modern PHC shall come up at Kulwanta.
Pathania was accompanied by District Heads of various departments, besides local BJP functionaries and local public including Sham Lal Verma (Mandal Pardhan), Gh Mohd. Banday (Ex-Sarpanch), Mohd. Hussain Banday, Ajay Khajuria, Sanjay, Jag Mohan, Master Raj Gopal, Raj Kumari, Ashok Kumar, Des Raj, Bikram Singh,  and others.
