Pathania assures electrification of all villages in Ramnagar

RAMNAGAR, Oct 17: With a view to have first-hand overview of problems faced by people of the area, Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar Assembly Constituency visited Targain, Touri and Sunetar areas and issued instructions to the concerned officers/officials of various departments for on spot redressal of  their grievances in a time-bound manner.
Addressing the gatherings at Brahman Sabha Ramnagar, Targain, Touri and Sunetar, Pathania informed that it was due to his persistent and diehard efforts and a remarkable follow up by STD wing of PDD Udhampur that we have been able to decongest the 33 KVA Ramnagar line by way of delinking the Industrial area Battal Ballian from it and as an obvious result thereof improvement in power scenario in and around Ramnagar has been observed. Announcing that all the villages and households will be electrified under DDUGVY and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes as the present Government at Centre as well as State are committed towards ensuring ’24×7 Power to All’. He informed that Ramnagar Constituency will be witnessing a ‘face-lift’ as civil works worth Rs 400 crore have been tendered in roads sector and are going to be started very soon.
While addressing largely attended gathering at Ramnagar, Targain and Sunetar, he announced new transformers for Sukha Talab, Gorha -Pattan, and Nimbla under IPDS and blacktop of Plassan to Pinger road, Ramnagar to Sulan road, Sulan to Kela road, Nakki to Omara road, Dhar road to Alsoo road and many other roads. Amongst a thundering applause from the students, he announced blacktop of Ramnagar to Degree College road. He further announced construction of boundary wall for Middle School Targain, blacktopping of Targain-Plassan road and four new hand pumps in Dehari/Targain. Instructions were also issued to PHE Department to link Targain with Dehari water supply scheme to ensure availability of proper drinking water in Targain. At Sunetra/Touri, he asked the Rural Development Department to prepare DPRs for construction of tractor-road from Dodhla to Kalag and further issued instructions to PHE Department for improving water supply in the area.
