REASI, Mar 19: Annual Day of Play School, Jyotipuram was organised with enthusiasm and spirit at Community Hall, Jyotipuram.
Vanita Shekhar presided over the function as chief guest who inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp in the presence of Rakesh Goel, General Manager (Civil), Salal Power Station, Principal, teachers and School Management Committee.
Wishing all the best to the tiny tots and teachers of the school on the occasion, Mrs Shekhar said.”As a mother, I think every child is blessed with a mix of special abilities. The teachers and parents need to identify the same to bring out potential of a child in totality”. She further said that education is not about brilliant academic results only but it is the moral duty of a teacher to develop in child a sense of caring, a sense of respect, a sense of compassion for one another as these virtues are pre-requisites for total happiness.
Earlier, Rajni Sharma, Principal of the school presented welcome address and highlighted the achievements of the school.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Supriya Basan, while Sapna Sharma presented vote of thanks.
The children presented a variety of cultural items which were liked by one and all.
