JAMMU, July 19: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Ashok Manhas of Ward Number 59 has expressed concern over the power crisis in Paloura area.
In a handout he urged upon Lieutenant Governor’s Advisor dealing with Power Development Department to look into the matter as small children and elders are suffering due to poor power supply in the area in this scotching heat.
He also said that the electricity in the area is supplied by the Muthi feeder which is far away from Paloura and is already overloaded. The Councillor demanded that some load Muthi feeder should be shifter to some other feeder.
Manhas claimed that Paloura area is 100 per cent metered and the people there regularly pay their power bills.
