Pak national’s body handed over

JAMMU, Aug 9: Indian Army today handed over the body of a Pakistani national, which was lying on Indian side of the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote sector of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district, during a flag meeting at Chakan-Da-Bagh Zero Line in Poonch district.
Official sources said troops had recovered the body from LoC of a Pakistani national, who had died natural death while grazing cattle. Army recovered the body and handed it over to police.
During investigations, identity of the civilian was established as Kala Khan son of Magho Khan R/o Dera Sher Khan, Tata Pani in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Army and police authorities took up the matter with their counterparts in PoK and finally the body was handed over to Pakistan Army and civilian authorities at Chakan-Da-Bagh at 5.30 pm today.
