JAMMU:
Pakistan again violated the ceasefire this evening on the Line of Control in Poonch districtby firing small arms and automatics.
”Pakistan troops this evening fired small arms and automatics in Balakote Sector of Poonch,” official spokesperson here said. He said firing started about 1915 hrs till 2000 hrs . ”No injury or damage was reported in the firing,” he added.
Continuing firing along the border, Pakistan yet again in less than 24 hours violated the ceasefire four times in Rajouri, Poonch and Jammu Sectors.
”Pakistan troops this early morning started unprovoked firing from 0415 hrs till 0510 hrs in Pallanwala Sector,” official spokesperson here said.
He said earlier Pakistan fired in this sector from 0100 hrs to 0110 hrs. They violated the truce last night from 2000 hrs to 2015 hrs in Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch and then from 1230 hrs to 0130 hrs in Bhimber Gali area of Rajouri.
”Pak fired small arms and mortars while our troops retaliated effectively with similar caliber weapons,” he added. (AGENCIES)
