JAMMU, Mar 22: Well known painter and lens man of Jammu OP Sharma has been invited to attend a UGC sponsored National Research Seminar on “Innovations in Contemporary Indian Art” being organized by Department of Drawing and Painting, Government Hamidia Arts and Commerce College, Bhopal from March 24 to 26.
Papers on different aspects of contemporary art and innovation in various fields of art will be read during this programme.
OP Sharma has displayed his talent of painting and photography many a time in and outside the State. He has participated in many international and national artists’ camps at different places in the country.
He is also associated with organizational work in the field of art and culture. He has held art shows at New Delhi, Pune, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Rohtak, Haridwar, etc. He has also conducted many national level art camps and events as convener. Recently he has attended All India Painters Camps at Saharanpur, Pune, Raj Bhawan, Dehradun and Jaipur.
