JAMMU, Jan 18: Responding instantly to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s call for intensifying outreach programmes to bring in more youth into the party fold especially those belonging to marginalized and underprivileged sections, Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) conducted an outreach programme in Jhiri village near here, today.
The programme was conducted in consonance with the contours laid by the PM for the party’s 2024-Outreach at the BJP’s National Executive Committee meeting in New Delhi the other day.
Amandeep Singh, national media Prabhari of the party was the chief guest during the programme organized under the directions and patronage of Arun Prabhat, president BJYM J&K.
Arun Prabhat, while addressing the workers and others attending the programme asserted that for every BJP Karyakarta nation is always first and self the last. He explained to the BJYM workers the purpose and aim of the significant outreach programme.
Prabhat asserted that the Karyakartas are the foot soldiers and constitute the backbone of the party and keeping in view that with roughly 400 days to go for the 2024 general elections, they will have to intensify the party’s outreach among all sections of society and minorities, especially marginalized communities, undertake membership drive on mission mode, and focus on young people between the age of 18 to 25.
The BJYM leader asserted that the onus of party’s success lies with the ground level workers ability to connect with the masses and once this target is achieved and the people get the picture about BJP’s public-friendly policies, no power on earth can defeat the party in any form of political contest.
National Media Incharge BJYM Amandeep Singh while addressing the programme said that initiating from the booth-level the workers must reach out to prospective voters from all segments and age-groups thus making sure that substantial number of young voters support the party in every booth.
Singh said that it is important to bring the young voters to the polling booth and efforts should be made by the party cadre to meet this challenge with utmost ease through strong resolve and conviction.
