SRINAGAR, Dec 27: One person died while as six others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a vehicle hit a motorcycle JK01L/8535 at Kanelwan-Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Farooq Faiz Wani, son of Ghulam Rasool Wani resident of Kalnathpora, Srinagar. The injured motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries while on way to hospital. The body of deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tata Sumo number JK08A/3641 had an accident near Ziyarat Mantiqui Sahab, Awantipora, resulting in injuries to three passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo number JK08A/5070 hit and injured 40 years old, Bilal Ahmad Ahanger, son of Abdul Salam Ahanger resident of Khanmoh-Srinagar near Tool Post Qazigund. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A motorcycle hit and injured 28 years old, Shah Firdous, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Repora near Wathora, Chadoora. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tata Sumo number JK05/6858 on way from Srinagar to Sopore collided with an Auto load carrier at Tapper-Pattan, resulting in injuries to the driver of the load carrier. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
