SRINAGAR, Apr 3: Kulgam Police apprehended a drug peddler with 600 grams of charas in Kulgam district last evening.
Police said that acting on a specific information, a police party headed by DSP Headquarters Irshad Hussain Rather apprehended a drug peddler at Chawalgam crossing in Kulgam District. About 600 grams of charas was recovered from his possession. The peddler was identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday resident of Barbugh, Imamsahib Shopian.
Police has registered a case under Section 8/20 NDPS Act against the peddler in Police station Kulgam and investigation was taken up.
