JAMMU, Dec 19: Khour Police arrested a notorious narcotic smuggler, basically from Chachwa area of Ramban but presently staying at Troti area of Tehsil Khour.
He was reportedly involved in supplying and selling of narcotic drugs to the youth of Khour.
On specific inputs Khour Police laid a special Naka and intercepted one Manzoor Ahmed son of Mohd. Shafi resident of Troti, Khour and seven gm Brown Sugar (Heroine in common parlance) was recovered from his possession and he was arrested.
A case in FIR No. 94/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
The recovery was made by SHO Khour, Inspector Rattan Singh Rana assisted by SI Brij Paul, PSI Akhil Sen along with Police team of P/S Khour under the close supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Dy. SP Mohan Lal Sharma, Addl. SP(R) Sanjay Sharma and under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli.
