SAMBA, Aug 30: A person was arrested for allegedly trying to outrage the modesty of a girl in Bari-Brahmana.
A police spokesman said that, a person namely Vicky Sharma, son of Ram Lal, a resident of Bari-Brahmana allegedly tried to outrage the modesty of a girl of Bari-Brahmna town. The girl raised alarm and accused managed to escape from the spot.
On reaching home, the girl narrated the incident to her family members, who reported the matter to Police Station Bari-Brahmana.
Acting swiftly, the accused was arrested immediately by the police team headed by SDPO Bari Brahmana Shehzad Salaria.
A case under FIR number 103/14 under Section 376, 511 and 452 RPC was registered at Police Station Bari-Brahmana against the accused and investigation started.
