JAMMU, Jan 28: One person was arrested today with heroin by Trikuta Nagar police.
According to a police official, on suspicion, a pedestrian identified as Mohd Farooq son of Hakim Din, resident of Pulwama, was intercepted today by a police team at a naka on Panama Chowk.
He said on search of the belongings of the pedestrian, 3 gram of heroin was recovered, which was seized by the police. “In this connection, a case under NDPS Act has been registered at police station Trikuta Nagar and the accused was arrested”, he added.
