JAMMU, Oct 2: One person was arrested by Lakhanpur Police today for sale of illicit liquor near Hatli More.
According to Police One Swaran Singh, son of Kirpa Ram of Rasoch Hatli presently putting up at Tara Nagar Hatli More was arrested by Police for carrying 118 pouches of liquor of J&K Excise for sale.
Police said during a routine naka today it intercepted an Alto car bearing registration number JK0AM1191 and seized 118 pouches of JK Excise liquor from it. Police arrested the driver of the car and seized the vehicle also. A case under 48 Excise Act was registered against him.
