KISHTWAR, Aug 10: A meeting of All Non -Teaching Employees Forum of School Education Department, district unit Kishtwar, was held today under the chairmanship of its president Sunil Kumar Aryan for discussing various issues being faced by the Non-teaching employees.
The main demand raised by the employees during meeting, was departmental promotion of non-teaching staff (all cadres) which has been pending for the last three/four years. Earlier, in this regard, the members of non-teaching employees forum had requested to the previous Directors who assured for conduct of DPC very shortly but unfortunately they were transferred without doing anything for non-teaching employees, the meet observed.
The Forum hoped that the incumbent Director School Education, Jammu Yasha Mudgal, who was submitted a memorandum of demands including DPC of Non-teaching employees, would consider the issue as early as possible.
The meet also highlighted some other demands, including regularization of I/c Section Officers and I/c Head Assistants. Their regularization is pending for the last five years and despite repeated assurances, no action has been taken in this regard, the meet regretted.
