JAMMU: District Magistrate Angrez Singh Rana on Thursday said that the night curfew will continue in Kishtwar town.
“In continuation to the order issued by DM on April 17, the night curfew shall remain imposed in Kishtwar town and its adjoining peripheries from 1000 hours to 0400 hours,” he said in an order issued.
Besides, prohibitory orders under section 144 CrPC banning assembly of more than four persons will remain in force in the town and adjoining areas as a precautionary measure, the order read further.
Curfew was imposed in Kishtwar few days back after RSS leader and his PSO was shot dead by some unidentified gunmen in the town inside the hospital premises.
Police however, have rounded up some suspects and the investigations into the case are in progress. (Agencies)
