Niaz calls on Advisor, projects Doda issues

JAMMU, Aug 19: A deputation of Congress party led by former minister Mohammed Sharief Niaz met Khursheed Ahmed Ganai Advisor to Governor and presented a charter of demands to him.
Niaz demanded that Gondoh- Dhrawri Road which is under construction for last 7 years has been stopped for a reason best know to the Government, as a result people are facing hardships. He demanded that work on this roads be started without more delay.
The Congress leader also demanded that all other, under construction roads in Bhaderwah constituency be got completed in every respect including blacktopping. Besides, the court direction regarding opening of Tehsil Chilli, Tehsil Changa, Tehsil Chinta – Bhalara Niabat Seri, Niabat Chinta-Bhalara, Niabat Sinoo, Niabat Guraka , CD block Athkhar, CD block Sinoo, CD block Chinta Bhalara and CD block Bhella be implemented at an earliest.
Members of the deputation demanded that wages of all daily wagers, SSA & RET teachers and employees be released before Eid and Raksha Bandhan festivals, payments to job card holders for their work done in MGNREGA be made. Niaz demanded that payments be made to the contractors of SFC, R&B, PHE, BDA, Tourism, Flood Control & JKPCC for their work done. He also sought regular power and water supply.
Om Prakash Parihar, Nadeem Sharief, Taj Din, Feroz Din, Naeem Ahmed, Krishan Lal, Bodh Raj, Krishan Chand, Gulzar and others joined Mr Niaz.
