JAMMU, Sept 29: Chander Mohan, Executive Director, Regional Office, Jammu visited Nimoo-Bazgo Power Station, Alchi in Leh district.
Nimoo-Bazgo is one of the units of NHPC Ltd, a Govt of India enterprise, with installed capacity of 45 MW. Prit Pal Singh Wilkh, Chief Engineer, Nimoo Bazgo Power Station, along with other senior officers accorded warm welcome to the visiting Executive Director of the Power Corporation.
After being given the guard of honour by J&K Police, Chander Mohan had meeting with officers and stressed upon exploring new business opportunities in the State, specially in Leh, Ladakh region. He stressed upon the need to enhance managerial skills and work hard with full enthusiasm and passion for the betterment of Corporation and the country.
Chander Mohan then visited Power House, Dam Complex and other installations of NBPS where he addressed the employees and congratulated them for their achievements.
Speaking on the Occasion, Wilkh highlighted the ongoing activities of Power House and explained him about difficulties and problems in Power House, Dam operation and Maintenance during winter season and preventive measures to be taken to run the Power Station during peak winter when temperature drops down to sub-zero level.
Surinder Lamba, Manager (HR) presented vote of thanks on the occasion.
