NGAEA holds meet, highlights issues

JAMMU, Feb 28: J&K Non Gazetted Accounts Employees Association (NGAEA) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Kulwant Singh Sambyal.
During the meeting, the participants discussed various issues including pay anomaly of accounts cadre, fresh recruitment, transfer policy and creation of welfare fund.
While speaking, Kulwant Singh said that there is urgent need of conducting election among the accounts employees to achieve desired goals.
He demanded implementation of SRO-160 increment bar, change of designation of accounts assistant to accountant and accountant to senior accountant should, infrastructure of J&K treasurers as per Bank system, unqualified and untrained accounts personal should not be posted in sensitive categories, creations of posts of accountant in AD Food supply, computer operator, class-IV, clerical Government cashier and SRO-43 in Situ promotion.
He asked the Government to redress the issues at the earliest.
Among others present were KS Khalsa, Prem Nath, Pardeep Kumar, Ram Pal, Ashok Kumar, AK Bhat, Narinder Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar, etc.
