CHENNAI, Apr 20: The ninth edition of the Next Generation Printing, Packaging and Converting Technology Exhibition ‘N Printech N Packtech Today 2016′ would be held here from April 22. More than 2000 visitors from India and abroad, involved in this industry would participate in the three-day event for meetings and interactions. Over 150 exhibitors from across the country will set up stalls showcasing the latest advancements in the printing and packaging industry. It would be organised by Buysell Interactions, leading organizers of professional trade expos. Talking to reporters here today, Director of Buysell Interactions G V Seetharama Rao, Convenor of South India Printers Association R Udhaykumar and Raja Sankar of South India Corrugated box manufcturers association said the Indian printing and packaging industry was worth around Rs four lakh crore of which the southern markets share was about 40 per cent from printing, packing, match box, fireworks, knitting and textile industries. The “NPrintech and Packtech Today” Expo would be creating a platform to showcase the latest technologies, machineries, equipment and services available in India and abroad for better and faster growth to compete in the global market.
As the demand for innovations in printing and packaging to maximize customer satisfaction in all sectors has been growing phenomenally, the expo was being conducted to serve as a meeting ground between the technology providers and users.
The highlight of the exhibition, supported by South India Printers’ Association (SIPA) and Digital Printing Association of Tamil Nadu and co-sponsored by Konica Minolta Business, would be product launches, with live demo of all running equipments.
