Villager's foot blows up in mine blast

Excelsior CorrespondentPOONCH, May 6: The foot of a villager was blown up in a mine blast near the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar sector today.Officials� sources said that 30-year-old, Parvez Ahmed, son of Manzoor Hussain, resident of� Deri Dabsi village had gone in the forest area near the LoC to graze his cattle. Then suddenly, he over stepped a land mine which was exploded with big bang. His foot was blown up with the impact of explosion.� With serious injuries,� he was removed to nearby Army hospital and later referred to Rajouri Hospital.
