Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, June 3: The Jammu and Kashmir unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) today expressed concerned over incidents of confusion among citizens over cremation procedures of Corona victims. The core team of the Parishad today held meeting in which all the office bearers have strongly condemned the incident of the Domana Cremation Ground where corpus of Corona patient could not be cremated due to misunderstanding among the general public. “The Government officials are responsible for handling cremation of the corona victims by following all necessary precautions and protocols. It is not wise to disrupt their working. Religiously too, disrupting the cremation is like disrespecting the departed soul,” said VHP in a statement issued here. Since interstate movement has been declared open in unlockdown-1, the VHP demanded for making SOP for those who wish to go to Haridwar, Kankhal and Kurukshetra for performing Pujans, Asthi Visarjan and other rituals for the departed souls.
