Vehicle loaded with 6 bovines seized

Excelsior Correspondent RAJOURI, Oct 14: The police seized a truck loaded with bovine animals after a few kilometres of `hot run and chase' on highway near Rajouri last night. Official sources said that a police team headed by Incharge PP Chatyar Chingus, SI Sanjay Raina laid a special naka at Chingus highway and during checking a Tata mobile JKO2AL- 1149 on way towards Rajouri from Jammu was signalled to stop from some distance but after seeing the naka, driver returned back towards Nowshera. Sensing suspicion the vehicle was chased by police team and after several kilometres long chase, the driver left the vehicle on link road near Narian and fled from the spot. On checking vehicle was found loaded with six bovines. The vehicle was seized on the spot while bovines were rescued. A case has been registered under relevant sections of law at Police Station, Rajouri and investigation taken up.
