Two held with cannabis

Excelsior Correspondent KISHTWAR, July 20: Two drug peddlers along with cannabis like substance were arrested today from Wasserkund area. "On specific inputs, a team from Police Station Kishtwar laid a special naka at Wasserkund area and arrested 2 drug peddlers including a juvenile along with cannabis-like substance weighing about 32 grams," a Police spokesman said, adding, one of the arrested peddlers has been identified as Owis Tariq son of Tariq Husain Sheikh, resident of Astan Bala (Kishtwar). He said a case FIR Number 155/2023 under relevant section of NDPS Act was registered in this connection at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
