TT competition under Khelo India gets underway

Excelsior Sports Correspondent POONCH, Oct 15: Table Tennis Tournament under-17 years’ boys and girls started in the auditorium of Govt Degree College, here today. The Competitions are being organised by District Table Tennis Association Poonch under the aegis of J&K TT Association in collaboration with State Sports Council. The event was declared open by Prof (Dr) Jasbir Singh, Vice Principal of the College. In boys singles, Guracess beat Adnan by 11-7, 11-9; Ridhik drubbed Kaif by 11-8,11-5 and Mohsin trounced Waseem by 11-5,11-7, while in girls singles, Vanshika prevailed over Bhoomi by 11-7,11-8 and Sohani beat Dyanshi by 11-6,11-9. The tournament is being held under the supervision of Er. Saleem Banday, Organising Secretary.
