Teenager jumps into Chenab

Excelsior Correspondent DODA, Oct 13: A teenager allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Chenab near Barshalla area, falling under the jurisdiction of Doda Police Station. As per police sources, a boy identified as Sajawal (15), son of Sher Mohammad, a resident of Dalian Bajar, Tehsil Gandoh allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Chenab from a bridge in Barshalla area of district Doda, today. After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started operation to fish out the body of the teenager from the river. The body was not fished out, when reports last were compiled. Doda police has taken cognizance in this regards.
