Shameema new J&K Mahila Cong president

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, July 24: Shameema Raina has been appointed as president of J&K Mahila Congress. She has replaced Indu Pawar, former MLA from Jammu region. Hailing from Kashmir region, Shameema was presently an office bearer in the All India Mahila Congress Committee. AICC general secretary KC Vinugopal appointed Ms Raina as J&K UT Mahila Congress chief on the approval of AICC president, Mallikarjun Kharge today. Besides J&K, Mahila Congress presidents for Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Tripura and Rajasthan were also appointed today.
