Sat Sharma inspects development works in Jammu West

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Apr 1: BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma, along with senior officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and the party leaders from Jammu West district, inspected various developmental works going on in Shakti Nagar and adjoining areas. Sat Sharma, during his visit to the cremation ground in Shakti Nagar, directed the JMC officials to speed up the work for setting up of water tank, construction of bathrooms, renovation of the park etc. He told them that the funds should not come in the way of quality work adding that Rs 20 lakh have already been released from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) exclusively for the cremation ground. Sat Sharma, while talking to the local people, said that Jammu West Assembly Constituency is spread over a very large area with a large population and hence the needs and aspirations of the people are obviously much higher. He said that the places like cremation grounds or graveyards are required to be maintained with the provision of some facilities. He assured that whatever is possible within the limited resources as a MLA, will be utilized for the development of each and every area falling in the constituency and asked the party leaders and general public to keep an eye on the quality of work on various developmental works which are in progress in their respective areas. BJP State secretary Sanjay Baru, Jammu West District President Ayodhya Gupta, Office Bearers of the district including Sat Pal Karlupia, Sanjeev Sharma, Rakesh Mishra, Kuldeep Magotra, Bal Khajuria, Surinder Choudhary, Pardeep Gupta and Ashok Kumar accompanied the MLA.
