Restrictions in five Srinagar police station areas tomorrow

SRINAGAR: The District Magistrate (DM), Srinagar, has ordered imposition of Restrictions in the down town and Shehar-e-Khas (SeK) tomorrow as a precautionary measure to avoid any law and order problem.According to the DM Srinagar, restrictions under Section 144 of CrPC will remain in force under the jurisdiction of Police Stations, Nowhatta, M R Gunj, Rainawari, Khanyar and Safakadal, in district Srinagar on September 15 (Friday) as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident.The restrictions have been imposed following the killing of two top militants of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) in an encounter with security forces in the outskirts of the city this afternoon.
