Ramgarh Police arrests bootlegger

Excelsior CorrespondentSAMBA, Dec 18:� Acting on a reliable information received at PS Ramgarh, a police party of PS headed by SI, Bansi Lal, SHO Ramgarh under the direct supervision of�� Abhishek Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur,� apprehended� one bootlegger� namely Kulbir Kumar son of Jander Kumar�� resident of Tinday Khurd, Tehsil Bishnah, district Jammu from village Kothey Pathania where he was illegally selling Excise liquor nips� to the general public.The accused was arrested and 31 Nos of Excise liquor nips of 180 ml each were recovered from his possession. In this regard a case FIR No. 72/2017 under Section 48(a) Excise Act was registered at PS Ramgarh and investigation started.It may be recalled that District Police Samba has launched a drive against the menace of the drugs on the proficient directions of Anil Magotra, SSP Samba.
