Prez congratulates Deepa Malik for historic feat

New Delhi, Sep 13: President Pranab Mukherjee today congratulated Deepa Malik for securing a silver medal in the shotput F-53 event at the ongoing Rio Paralympics Games-2016.��� Praising Deepa's historic feat, the President in a message said,"I am delighted to know that you have won the Silver Medal in women's Shot Put F-53 event at the Rio Paralympics Games-2016." �� "Your success is a matter of great pride for all Indians. It will serve as an inspiration to both sportspersons as well as differently-abled people of our country.�� Your achievement is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication''.��� ''I congratulate you and wish the very best for the future." �� Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sports Minister Vijay Goel applauded the 45-year-old parathlete for clinching the silver medal.
