Painting competition held

Excelsior CorrespondentJAMMU, Sept 17: Depart-ment of Ecology, Environment and Remote Sensing organized Painting Competition on �Human Life and Ozone Layer� and a symposium on �Importance of Preserving Ozone Layer� at JK Montessori Senior Secondary School here.Principal of the school welcomed the chief guest Kuldeep Kumar, Divisional Forest Officer, Department of Ecology, Environment and Remote Sensing.In Symposium Compe-tition, Kritika Raina, Poorva Shan and Ayush Gupta bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in Painting Competition (Group-Ist), Yogita Gupta, Aashray Kapoor and Harhoor Kour clinched first, second and third positions respectively, in Ground-IInd, Ansh Patyal, Zubia Khan and Rehan Singh bagged first, second and third positions respectively and in Group-IIIrd, Sishant Verma, Sidhima Gulati and Asha Jyoti clinched first, second and third positions respectively.The eco-friendly material in the form of cotton and jute bags were distributed among the students.Abhisheik Padha, a painting expert evaluated the painting sheets and made the jugdement.
