Militants made abortive bid to attack police station, hurled grenade

SRINAGAR: Militants made an abortive bid to attack a police station in south Kashmi district of Anantnag by hurling a hand grenade which did not explode today, official sources said.They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards police station Wanpoh in Kulgam district.���� However, the grenade did not explode, they said, adding the area was sealed and later Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused the grenade without causing any damage.
