Mathura refinery to undertake massive plantation in monsoon

MATHURA, June 4: To maintain eco-friendly environment in and around its premises, Mathura Refinery has decided to undertake a massive plantation programme in the forthcoming rainy season.�To ensure survival of the plants, help of social organisations as well as individuals would also be taken. Not only employees of refinery would be encouraged to adopt a plant, but people in general would also be motivated for the purpose,� Nandanvar, the CPRO of the refinery said.The refinery is aiming to develop greenery in the township and near-by areas of Mathura and Agra, Nandanvar said.The green Ecological Park inside Refinery is a natural habitat for several species of rare local and migrating birds, he said.The refinery would be celebrating �World Environment Day� on June 5 for spreading awareness about the environment, he said.
