Judge acquitted in dowry harassment case

DEWAS, MP, June 26:A local court has acquitted a judge who was dismissed for allegedly demanding dowry from his in-laws during his marriage ceremony.Judicial Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Sharma acquitted Shahdol-resident Inder Singh Malviya yesterday.According to prosecution, Malviya�who was supposed to marry Monika Solanki, a resident of Adarsh Nagar here�allegedly involved in a brawl with the groom�s relatives after demanding Rs 1 lakh and a car as dowry while marriage ceremony was taking place on December 1, 2010.
